Selected Accomplishments:

• Awarded the Edelman Pacific Northwest “Game Changer” award in spring 2024, a quarterly internal recognition to “highlight and celebrate those who are making a difference in the work in an exemplary way by demonstrating leadership skills”

• Graduated summa cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication

• Successfully completed the rigorous coursework of Barrett, the Honors College, including a two-year thesis creative project about Arizona service animal laws and practices

• Awarded the national Anders Tjellström Scholarship from Cochlear Americas, given to students “who have overcome hearing loss and achieved academic and personal success”

• Awarded ASU’s New American University President’s Award scholarship, the highest merit-based scholarship available to freshmen enrolling at ASU

• Selected as senior class speaker for high school graduation

• Awarded the Wellesley College Book Award for outstanding academic achievement and leadership within the school and community

• Awarded Superior ranking in the Journalism Education Association’s feature story write-off
